What is Hypnosis

Hypnosis is a natural state of mind. By altering your state of consciousness using hypnosis you gain a heightened state of awareness.

Hypnosis is a means of by-passing the conscious mind which through the altered state of awareness. You then have access to the subconscious mind, giving you increased possibilities for change. In this state of awareness, suggestion is used to assist in accessing inner resources not usually available, to maximise well being.

Trauma and distress can more easily be resolved by accessing subconscious information, using various methods of hypnotherapy to bring release and peace of mind.

Hypnosis has long been used in medical settings to control pain, act as a natural anaesthetic and for the relief of many physical problems such as asthma, eczema and other skin disorders, migraines, irritable bowel syndrome, blood pressure, etc.

Hypnosis has been proven to be very effective in quitting smoking and other addictive habits.
